Programming

We can write bespoke software to your exact specification to control or monitor your plant / equipment or simply to aid the design process. The software can be stand alone or designed to integrate with your existing system. 

Languages include: Visual Fortran, C, Visual Basic.

e.g.   A client in the food processing industry required a program capable of calculating flange sizes for both rectangular and circular ducts.  User defined variables included duct size, wall thickness, internal pressure, bolt pitching, bolt size etc.  The program determines the number of bolts required as well as flange bend stress and includes a stated factor of safety.

MATHCAD (go to website)

This is a technical calculation software package that allows our engineers to perform complex mathematical calculations to compliment and verify other design methods quickly and reliably.

AutoCAD (go to website)

We use AutoCAD to view, and if requested, modify a client's existing drawings. We also have the facilities to produce drawings in virtually any of the common 2D drafting formats.

LabVIEW (go to website)

This versatile virtual laboratory software allows us to interface with our vast array of monitoring equipment which includes: seismometers, accelerometers, LVDT’s, vibration exciters, geophones, pressure transducers, ultrasonic devices, thermocouples, strain gauges etc.

We can monitor on-site or set up a system to automate remote data capture and retrieval. We can mount equipment on rotating or moving objects and transmit data via a wireless connection.
