Industrial Air Pollution Control Equipment: Engineering Consultation
Clients will often design at the component level then come to us for a final detailed check on the full section of plant. We would provide an exhaustive system-level view which identifies any weaknesses, and provides an impartial validation of the final product.

Our client produces industrial air pollution control equipment such a filters and scrubbers for large industrial processes. We regularly provide them with a broad health-check for each of their designs against all anticipated mechanical loading scenarios. These might include self-weight, live loading, internal pressure, explosion, seismic, lifting, installation and transportation. We would typically create a 3D model of a filter from scratch and scrutinise every component under every loading scenario for mechanical integrity and fitness for purpose.
More often than not, the basic stiffener sizes, panel thicknesses and panel spans are acceptable, but sometimes a system-wide mode of deformation will disproportionately load one small section. We would offer practical remedial advice without the need for a full redesign, and only rarely require a second round of analysis.
